The Sinderellas were looking for more songs in the style of Mr. Slick, so Steffen and I came up with this. He recorded the track in Hamburg and sent it to me, and I wrote the melody and lyric, and recorded Kristy's vocals. The band was looking for a lead vocalist at the time and were so impressed with her singing that they asked if she'd like to join them! But with her first baby on the way, moving to Germany wasn't exactly on her cards.
